Blink your Eye and There is A new Change

I couldn't be happier. Change is amongst us. Obama has been elected as our 44th president of the United States of America. I am so excited and I couldn't hold the tears back when I found out. It says something about our country that we can except and want change. I know that many are not happy with who the majority chose, but we don't have the choice of getting older either..

As for one of my first blogs that I had written about weekends wanting to work on the weekends, well you can pan that. My son has graduated college with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. He is in the Police A academy and living with us until he graduates and I have enjoyed having him home. Perhaps it is just another change in my life. My daughter is still gone and I miss her so. I talk to her everyday and some people just don't get the closeness that we share. Love her, my son and my wonderful hubby. Who could ask for anything more? Not me.

I love New York City! I have been there 3 times almost within a year. June 07, Dec. 07 - Jan. 08, and July 08. What a place. Full of energy. There is no place like it. Never been? A must before you leave the planet.

Which one are you?

Suddenly I realized that you can figure out who and how often certain people want or like sex. How? By what copier they use. We have 2 copiers in one of our work rooms. Now there is the big copier that is fast (it's not always about size). The people that use this copier are usually the ones that never talk to much and want the copies made fast and quick. So it's like saying go ahead lets get this over and done with. The copies aren't the best, but they will do. Now the other copier is slower, smaller(it's not always about size) and the quality is so wonderful. You can hardly tell which is the original to the copy. These are the people who like to take it slow and enjoy the real thing. So which one are you?

Phew...

Well, today was definitely a Monday. I did my 2.5 miles on the treadmill to relieve a little stress and 1 bottled water and now dinner. WINE!

Just a day, just another ordinary day..

Today was a good day. Started off with lots of coffee. I love coffee! Chatted with my female soulmate in Ohio for over an hour to catch up on our crazy lifes. Met friends for brunch in Dallas for the BEST mexican breakfast. Afterwards came home and watched 3 episodes of Sex In the City with my JL (daughter) and then she had to go back to college. She has had a tough 1st, but she is coming home for summer. YEA!



Friends are very important to me. I can't have enough. Life is good and I must keep reminding myself. Have a good week.

Now What?

Okay, my kids are both in college and my husband and I work. I love my job and he enjoys his. The problem? I sometimes would rather be at work on the weekend. Crazy I know. Ahhhh!!! drives me nuts. During the week I go out with friends to have a few drinks, but of course I am older then they are and they have families to go to. Maybe I just needed to vent. I just don't want spend the rest of my life sitting and watching TV. Although the debates were entertaining!
